A survey commissioned by the firm found that 37 per cent of SMEs are planning to
increase the size of their internet advertising marketing budget in the future, with
an average of 52 per cent of SME ad budgets being set aside for internet spending.

Over two-thirds of SMEs said that the net was becoming such a key component in their
practice that they had conducted search engine optimisation (SEO) on their website.
